Natasha Marburger will interview Sean Hogan about his experiences in the film industry, and the two will discuss various topics, before opening questions out to the audience.
Sean Hogan is a writer and filmmaker based in Margate. His feature film credits include The Devil’s Business, Future Shock! The Story of 2000AD, and The Borderlands. In collaboration with Kim Newman, he co-created the anthology plays The Hallowe’en Sessions and its follow-up, The Ghost Train Doesn’t Stop Here Anymore, and directed both their West End runs. He has written a critical monograph on the 1970s cult film Death Line, and in 2020 he published two acclaimed books of metafictional film criticism, England's Screaming and Three Mothers, One Father. He is currently in pre-production on a new film, Other Places.
Natasha Marburger is a producer as well as the festival director of the London Independent Film Festival. She runs weekly events.
