BIOGRAPHY
Natasha Marburger
Natasha’s first ambition in life was to be a referee for men’s world cup football. Then she wanted to be an acrobat, which would have been slightly problematic for someone with a fear of heights, and after that she was determined to be a magician – all the excitement of fire and illusion. Finally she ended up a Film Producer.
Natasha's first film was 90-minute sci-fi thriller Hotspot (2013) directed by Vitor Vilela. It premiered at the London Independent Film Festival and was distributed online. Natasha has also produced and associate produced various short films. Shallow (2012), directed by Will Bridges and starring Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey, The Guest), was in competition at the Krakow International Film Festival, Palm Springs Short Film Festival and Short Shorts.
Bleached (2013), directed by Katie Pow and starring Maxim Wrottesley, was part of the Underwire Women’s Film Festival and the London Short Film Festival. Souls (2016), starring Paul Barber (The Full Monty, Only Fools and Horses) and directed by Dan Gage is now on the festival circuit.
Natasha is also the Festival Director for the London Independent Film Festival (LIFF), building worldwide partnerships, liaising with sponsors, working with film-makers, overseeing branding and marketing, running campaigns, connecting with publicists and press, hiring photographers, and more.
