About The Event
Rob has worked in the film industry for over 20 years, starting as a Production Runner on a C4 film, and now works as a Producer with a number of entities. His career began on the Isle of Man, with credits including Hound of the Baskervilles, A Bunch of Amateurs (Royal Film Performance 2008), and The Disappearance of Alice Creed. More recently Rob was a Co-Executive Producer on Butterfly Kisses which won the Berlinale Youth Jury’s Crystal Bear for Best Film in 2017. Also Rob was involved with The Kindergarten Teacher which won Sundance Best Director in 2018. Rob is currently working on a number of projects and his activity includes script critique and development, package analysis, and investor relations.
We will be talking about the process of producing, along with packaging a project, the generation of the pitch deck and information memorandums/risk statements, key cast attachments, financial planning, tax incentives, private equity and recoupment, and more!
